It's no secret the New York Yankees will be a team looking to add some bullpen help at the MLB Trade Deadline.

With the July 30 deadline just over a month away, the Yankees will have time to add some arms to a bullpen that is lacking the swing-and-miss factor.

That's why Mark Feinsand of MLB.com named the Yankees as potential suitors for Los Angeles Angels closer Carlos Estevez.

"Virtually every contender out there will be looking for bullpen help in the coming weeks, one reason the Angels should consider jumping the market with Estévez, who is earning $6.75 million this season and headed for free agency in the fall. The closer has a 0.79 ERA and .327 OPS allowed in his past 11 outings, successfully converting all seven of his save opportunities. He’s pitched in setup roles in past seasons, making him a prime trade-rental candidate for clubs seeking either a closer or a late-inning bridge to their current ninth-inning man," Feinsand wrote.

Other teams named as potential landing spots included the Seattle Mariners and Kansas City Royals.

Estevez would be a half-year rental, but the Yankees could use some help at the back end of the bullpen to help closer Clay Holmes.

Estevez has a 3.38 ERA in 24 innings pitched entering Saturday. He has 25 strikeouts and a 0.83 WHIP to go along with an expected ERA of 2.48.

The 31-year-old Estevez relies mostly on a two-pitch combination of a four-seam fastball and a slider. He occasionally mixes in a changeup and rarely uses a curveball. His fastball sits around the 96-97 mph mark.

It will be interesting to see what happens, but Estevez will be a name worth monitoring.
