The Colorado Rockies have selected shortstop Brendan Rodgers Lake Mary HS (Fla.) with the third overall pick of the 2015 MLB draft.
He’s the third consecutive shortstop taken atop the draft, the first time in draft history that’s happened. He’s the first prepster taken this year. He’s considered a power bat, wherever he eventually winds up defensively.
