The stars are out in Texas.
The 2024 MLB All-Star Game — the 94th iteration of the Midsummer Classic — takes place at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Tuesday night.
Rookie Paul Skenes is the headliner, as the 22-year-old right-hander is the youngest pitcher to start the All-Star Game since Doc Gooden in 1986. In just 11 career starts, Skenes is 6-0 with a 1.90 ERA.
He will face a lineup featuring Baltimore's Gunnar Henderson, New York's Juan Soto and Aaron Judge, and Houston's Yordan Alvarez.
Meanwhile, for the National League, Shohei Ohtani anchors a star-studded lineup alongside Bryce Harper and Christian Yelich.
