MLB All Star Game 2016: 'O Canada' singer alters lyrics to support All Lives Matter image

The MLB All-Star Game became the setting for another protest moment at a sporting event.

A member of The Tenors singing group replaced a line in "O Canada" with a statement in support of the All Lives Matter movement Tuesday night. 

The lyric, sung by Remigio Pereira, was delivered days after members of the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx wore T-shirts in support of Black Lives Matter before a game at Target Center. The players' statement was a response to the recent shooting deaths by police of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille. Off-duty police officers working security left the arena in protest.

The Lynx announced  Tuesday that players will not wear the shirts before their next game in San Antonio.

UPDATE: The Tenors issued an apology later Tuesday. In it, the group said it had suspended Pereira. It also (unironically) used an unfortunate turn of phrase ("lone wolf") in criticizing his actions:
