National League All-Star manager Terry Collins will call upon a pitcher to start The Midsummer Classic that threw a complete game against his Mets in the World Series. 

Now a member of the Giants, Johnny Cueto (13-1, 2.47 ERA) will take the hill to kick off the 2016 All-Star Game Tuesday (8:00 p.m. ET, Fox) in San Diego. In the first inning he's guaranteed to face the AL's Jose Altuve, Mike Trout and Manny Machado, AL manager Ned Yost announced on Monday.

Chris Sale (14-3, 3.38 ERA) will counter for the AL and face Ben Zobrist, Bryce Harper, Kris Bryant and hometown hero Wil Myers if a batter can reach base. 

Cueto and Sale will both be making their first career All-Star Game starts. Here are the starting lineups for each league.
