San Diego will host the 2016 MLB All-Star Game at Petco Park.

Petco Park, opened in 2004, has never hosted an All-Star Game before. San Diego previously hosted in 1978 and 1992. MLB will announce the 2016 All-Star teams on Tuesday, July 5 on the Esurance All-Star Selection Show on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET.
