Miles Mikolas and Juan Soto were going at it subtly in the fifth inning of Game 1 of the NLCS.
First, during an at-bat with the bases loaded, Soto took a curveball in the dirt and grabbed his crotch while staring at Mikolas.

Then, after Mikolas got Soto to ground out to end the inning, the righty appeared to return the favor.
Was Miles Mikolas taunting Juan Soto here? You be the judge. pic.twitter.com/wRHACUdhpq

This is Game 1 people. There are still potentially six games left in this series. The drama has begun.
St. Louis just came out of a series with the Braves in which the drama was palpable. Carlos Martinez got mad at Ronald Acuna Jr. for stutter stepping at third base when he hit a home run. Acuna pimped a fly ball he thought was a home run and wound up with a single. Yadier Molina bat flipped into right field on a game-winning sacrifice fly. And Acuna got mad when Jack Flaherty went up and in and hit him during Game 5.
Then after the series, manager Mike Shildt went on a profanity-laced tirade celebrating with his team and screaming about how the Braves wanted to start something and the Cardinals went ahead and ended it.
Here's for hoping the drama continues and we get even more of this excitement.
