Mets make heart transplant recipient's spring visit unforgettable image

Ryan Williams is attending Mets spring training this year. With a new heart.

The 14-year-old received a transplant six months ago. On Tuesday he entered a back field at the team's complex in Port St. Lucie and became a special guest of his favorite team.

The highlight came when New York's stud pitchers — Harvey, deGrom, Syndergaard and Familia, to name a few — gathered for a photo with Williams and presented him a ball they all signed.

"Ryan, you are taking a picture right now with the best pitching staff in baseball," manager Terry Collins told Williams.

The fans watching cheered in agreement.

Williams also got some camera time with a few prominent position players, too.

A terrific capper to a pretty sweet morning.
