Who do Mets or Brewers play next?

The winner of Game 3 between the Mets and Brewers will advance to face the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Phillies won the NL East with a 95-67 record and finished second in the National League standings, securing a spot in the NLDS.

Based on how the bracket shaped out, the 2-seed Phillies face the winner of the wild-card series between the 6-seed Mets and 3-seed Brewers. As such, Games 1 and 2 of the NLDS will be played at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park.

During the regular season, the Phillies won seven of 13 games against their division rival Mets. Most recently, New York won three of four games in a series played from Sept. 19-22.

The Phillies won four of six meetings with the Brewers in 2024 but Milwaukee had the most recent success. With the Phillies in town from Sept. 16-18, the Brewers took two of three games, including a walk-off win in the series finale.
