Don't run on Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista. It won't end well.

Yankees second baseman Dustin Ackley attempted to go from first to third on a single to right field in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday night against Toronto. Bautista fired a laser to third base, and Josh Donaldson supplied a smooth tag on Ackley to get the out. Ackley was originally called safe, but replay clearly showed the tag was made prior to his foot reaching the base.

Then Bautista gunned down Chris Young at home in the top of the ninth to save a run.

Should have learned your lesson the first time.

UPDATE: The Jays fell 6-4 in 10 innings. Their lead over the Yankees in the AL East is down to 2 1/2 games.
