After a fan got in the way of a foul ball at Great American Ball Park, Votto committed a no-no: He tugged on the fan's Reds shirsey to express displeasure with said fan's seeming disloyalty.

Votto clearly knows the rule: If you reach into the stands for a foul ball, you're fair game. Fans don't think to part the sea for a fielder.

Recognizing his transgression, Votto penned an apology on a ball that was delivered to the spectator (props to Votto for fitting all those words on a ball).
