UPDATE: USA Today reported the fan who was hit was hit by the home run ball in Game 6 of the World Series was the man's wife. "I just choked," said the man, Stephen Wiard. "He was trying to protect me, I appreciate it," said Stephen's gracious wife, Megan. Worse, another fan picked up the souvenir after the ball rolled away from the couple.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The Dodgers didn’t let their fans down on the return home for Game 6 of the World Series, especially when they took a 3-1 lead over the Astros in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday. One of their fans, however, did disappoint.
Joc Pederson's solo home run in that frame had plenty of hang time, but a glove-clad fan missed it completely at the expense of the woman behind him.

The incident caught plenty of Twitter reaction.
If you aren’t capable of using a glove, why even bring it to the game? #worldseries https://t.co/AjV6EAq5s7

This is just the latest in ball-catching (or lack thereof) fan antics during this World Series. In Game 5, an Astros fan caught Yasiel Puig's home run, only for it to get stolen and thrown back by a family member a couple seats away. (SN has the story behind why that happened.)
