Joc Pederson appears to have avoided serious injury.
The Dodgers outfielder suffered an abdominal bruise in the team's 16-9 win over the Rockies on Tuesday as he robbed Charlie Blackmon of a home run, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Pederson slammed into the railing next to the visitors' bullpen and spent several minutes writhing in pain on the ground before standing to walk off the field.
This is one of the most painful home run robberies I’ve seen this year. Holy cow, Joc Pederson. pic.twitter.com/iNcMCbQAkJ

"I got the wind knocked out of me and, like, a weird cramp in my obliques, rib-ish area, so they were a little concerned," Pederson said after the game, per ESPN. "But so far, so good."
Pederson, who hit a home run in the 11th inning to seal Sunday’s win over the Diamondbacks, homered twice on Monday before getting hurt, though his defensive effort was equally impactful.
"If that ball goes out of the ballpark," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said, "we’re looking at a different ballgame. Defensively, he’s doing really good things out there."
The NL West-leading Dodgers face the Rockies at 10:10 p.m. ET Tuesday before closing out the three-game series Wednesday.
