There's a lot of stats that show Madison Bumgarner is a really, really good postseason pitcher. Jake Arrieta hasn't a single damn to give about any of them.
In the top of the second inning in Game 3 of the National League Division Series, the Cubs starter decided now was as good a time as any to mash his first career playoff hit.

Arrieta hit .264 in the regular season with two home runs, and it looks like that offense is carrying over to October. It was a three-run bomb, and needless to say, it came as a bit of a shock those in attendance, quieting the home fans of San Francisco.
Still, giving the Cubs a 3-0 lead en route to a potential series win and a second straight National League Championship Series appearance must be nice.
