The man sitting next to the fan who fell to his death at Turner Field on Saturday night said Gregory Murrey may have had a sudden medical emergency before his fall.

"He was not at a level of intoxication. I mean, we were talking," Justin Arnold told Atlanta TV station WXIA. "We were talking about the fact that he was an insurance broker up in Roswell right before the fall. And it was a very intelligible conversation."

In the seventh inning, Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez was introduced as a pinch hitter. According to several witnesses, Murrey began heckling Rodriguez before losing his balance and falling from the upper deck in section 401. A Monday autopsy found Murrey died from the impact.

"He was letting them know how much he didn't like the Yankees, how much he didn't like Alex Rodriguez," Arnold said, adding that Murrey went from being "a good excited fan to silent. Immediately.

"He didn't maintain his footing. So, when I last saw him, I saw a rigid man falling on to the lady in front of us (in the front row)," Arnold said. "And I think anybody — he would have been able to catch himself had he been conscious during the fall."
