The 2015 Rawlings Gold Glove Award finalists were announced Thursday, with the Royals leading the American League and Giants leading the National League with four players each.

The award is given to players who have exhibited superior individual fielding performances at each fielding position in each league. Managers and coaches vote on who they think should receive the award in each position. However, a manager is not allowed to vote for a member of his own team. A sabermetric component accounts for 25 percent of the votes.
