Even with his fame and riches as a musician, Glenn Frey had another aspiration: He thought it would be cool to be a baseball announcer.

Frey, who died Monday at 67, got his wish one day back in June 1985, when he called a game alongside iconic Dodgers announcer Vin Scully. The event was included in an MLB production about the marriage of music and baseball that aired in the late '80s.
