Gaylord Perry spent 10 of his 22 MLB seasons with the Giants and now he'll be permanently connected to the team.

The Giants announced Monday they will unveil a statue of the Hall of Fame pitcher outside AT&T Park. Perry will join four other Giants Hall of Famers — Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Orlando Cepeda and Juan Marichal — with statues at the stadium. Perry's statue unveiling will take place Aug. 13.

Perry collected 134 of his 314 career wins in a Giants uniform. Two of his five All-Star selections were as a member of the Giants.

Suspected of using a spitball during his career, Perry was still inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991. A five-time 20-game winner, Perry went 314-265 with 303 complete games and 53 shutouts with a 3.11 ERA while playing for eight teams.
