It's been a bit of a rought start to the 2021 MLB season for the Braves. Atlanta stumbled out of the gates with eight losses in its first 12 games and was recently outscored 12-0 in a doubleheader against Arizona. Not ideal.
Braves star Freddie Freeman has been part of those struggles, hitting just .213 through his first 100 plate appearances. So what do you do when you're the reigning National League MVP and you just can't shake out of a slump? You ask your son to pick a new walk-up song, of course.
FAGAN: Ties would be better than MLB's extra-inning silliness
Freeman turned to his oldest son, Charlie, for a new jam ahead of Tuesday night's game between the Braves and Cubs. Freeman, who typically hears "Let the Drummer Kick" by Citizen Cope as he steps into the batter's box, instead arrived at the plate with "Ni Bien Ni Mal" by Bad Bunny blasting through the Truist Park speakers.
As soon as he heard the song, Charlie couldn't help but laugh. Yep, you really did it, buddy.
Charlie picked out daddy’s walk up song tonight. He was pretty excited about it. 😍 pic.twitter.com/E9XlwuZ6ZA

Atlanta went on to defeat Chicago 5-0, and Freeman reached base in three of his five at-bats.
Hmmm ... sounds like it's time for Charlie to choose new songs for the rest of the Braves' lineup.
