When you call someone a "peacock," it's usually because they're showing off. Astros reliever Brad Peacock lived up to his last name tonight.
Peacock earned a save in 3 2/3 of relief for the Astros en route to a World Series Game 3 Astros win — the first World Series win at home in franchise history.
And give credit where it's due to Astros' manager A.J. Hinch: He stuck with Peacock and it paid off in a big way.

Dodgers vs. Astros Game 3 preview
The 2017 World Series moves to Houston for Game 3 with the Dodgers and Astros tied at one game apiece after a crazy, thrilling Game 2 back in Los Angeles. If you missed that game for some reason (seriously, what's wrong with you?!), you can get caught up here, blow by blow.
Game 3 will feature another strong pitching matchup, as Yu Darvish toes the rubber for the Dodgers and Lance McCullers Jr. goes for the Astros. Some relevant World Series trivia: The winner of Game 3 has gone on to win the series about 64 percent of the time. But since 2013, the Game 3 winner has gone on to lose. Take that however you want, Dodgers and Astros fans.
Speaking of Game 3s, check out this list of the 12 most memorable ones from the past 50 years. Game 3 doesn't usually get much love, but maybe it should.
One thing to watch in this Game 3: Will the Astros' offense pick up where it left off late in Game 2, or will it revert to its semi-anemic state from Game 1 and the early innings of Game 2?
Another thing to watch: How the Dodgers adjust to Minute Maid Park, which has been a tough place for visitors during this postseason and has truly provided a home-field advantage for Houston.
In case you missed it, the Astros' Jose Altuve was named Sporting News MLB Player of the Year for a second straight season in a vote of 232 MLB players. The vote wasn't close, in case you're wondering. Speaking of Altuve, he picked it up in Game 2 after being mostly a non-factor during the first game, so it'll be interesting to see what Game 3 holds for him. For as Altuve goes, so likely go the Astros.
