Baseball is back, and all eyes are fixated on Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers as spring training begins.

Ohtani, the two-way superstar, hit free agency this past offseason and the Dodgers — a perennial force in the National League — swooped in. The two sides reached an unprecedented 10-year, $700 million deal with a whopping total of $680 million in deferred money, immediately vaulting Los Angeles to superteam status.

It’s been nearly 10 weeks since Ohtani signed with the Dodgers, and the hoopla has hardly waned, especially as he at last reaches the doorstep of his debut in Dodger blue. It's not clear exactly when that will happen as he continues to work his way back from elbow surgery, but Los Angeles will open up its Cactus League slate with a pair of games against the Padres this week.

The two NL West foes will also open up the 2024 MLB regular season with a two-game series in Seoul, South Korea, on March 20 and March 21.

Here is a complete guide to watching Dodgers vs. Padres, including the start time, TV schedule and live stream information.
