What better way to kick off the 2024 MLB season than with Shohei Ohtani’s Dodger debut?

Ohtani and the star-studded Dodgers take on their Southern California rivals, the Padres, in the 2024 Seoul Series in South Korea to commence what should be a thrilling MLB season.

The Dodgers, of course, were the story of the offseason. They traded for Tampa Bay ace Tyler Glasnow and inked prized Japanese right-hander Yoshinobu Yamomoto to a 12-year contract, refurbishing their rotation with star power. But the splash was undoubtedly Ohtani, the coveted two-way superstar signing a $700 million dollar deal to land in Dodger blue.

But you will need to set your alarms to catch the first glimpse at MLB’s latest superteam: Opening Day in Seoul is slated for 6:05 a.m. ET.

The Sporting News has you covered with everything that you need to know about the 2024 season opener, including TV channels and live stream.
