The Dodgers needed until the 11th inning to finally break through against the Yankees, but they finally did it when Teoscar Hernandez smoked a double to left center on an 0-2 pitch that plated a pair of runs.
Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman both came around to score the first runs of Friday's game at Yankee Stadium.
For Hernandez it was his second hit of the night and his third extra-base hit in the last two games.
