Derek Jeter tells Jimmy Fallon final Yankee Stadium game was like funeral image

Derek Jeter is retired, but he's hardly inactive.

His retirement tour started with a launch of The Players' Tribune — and a kind of boring Twitter Q&A — and he's made his way through a number of media outlets in the process. His latest stop was with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night.

In this first clip, Jeter explains why Fallon being right behind home plate was, well, a little awkward. (He also talks about the funeral-like atmosphere for his final game at Yankee Stadium.)

In the second clip, Jeter discusses being — possibly — the last single-digit Yankee and his new endeavor with The Players' Tribune. (He clarifies that he thinks sports writers are swell, and he isn't trying to put them out of business, BUT I'VE GOT MY EYE ON YOU, JETER!)

Enjoy.
