David Price's start Saturday was short.
The Red Sox left-hander left a matchup with the Astros after facing just three batters and recording two outs in the first inning. The team later announced (as reported by The Athletic) that Price was suffering flu-like symptoms:

Price got Aledmys Diaz out on one pitch and then struck out Alex Bregman before going deep into the count with Michael Brantley and allowing a single.

During the at-bat to Brantley, Red Sox pitching coach Dana LeVangie got on the phone to the bullpen because the team clearly didn't like something it was seeing.
Boston manager Alex Cora came out to the mound after Brantley's single and took Price out of the game. Colten Brewer came on in relief.
Price was seen cringing after a pitch to Brantley, but it is unclear exactly what was bothering him.

His fastball topped out at 91 mph.
The 33-year-old Price was placed on the injured list earlier this month with an elbow injury. He was activated ahead of a start on May 20. This was just his second appearance since his return.
Price is 2-2 with a 3.29 ERA this season with 46 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched.
