David Ortiz can officially say he has made it in life.
The Red Sox slugger, who is playing his final season in the major leagues, found out Wednesday that a life-size statue of him made out of Legos exists in the world.

The impressive creation was designed by master Lego builder Erik Varszegi. He and his team used 34,510 Lego blocks to build the 6-7 statue of Ortiz's home run celebration at the company’s North American headquarters in Enfield, Conn. The entire sculpture weighs 170 pounds.
It even include's Ortiz's trademark gut.

"Well, you have to be accurate to the character," Varszegi said in a Q&A with ESPN.com. "Every little detail he has was thought of. His face was great, especially with the sunglasses, the beard. I don’t think anyone could deny who it was, even if you only have a passing knowledge of the Sox.
"That’s what makes Ortiz so great: He’s very distinct."
Ortiz is batting .313 with 31 home runs and 101 RBIs this season. Though he has announced this will be his final year, Ortiz clearly still has what it takes to dominate at the highest level.
