Curt Schilling disgusted after ESPN removes Game 6 from 'Four Days In October' image

ESPN re-aired its "Four Days In October" documentary Sunday evening. Only this version should've been called "Three Days In October," because the network removed the part about Game 6. You know, the one that forced a deciding Game 7. The "bloody sock" game. The one where ... oh yeah, Curt Schilling ... had the biggest performance of his career.

As you can imagine, Schilling, who is never at a loss for words, had a thing or two to say about the omission.

As he is also apt to do, Schilling was quick to engage with fans who saw his tweets.

He also made it clear that he, um, doesn't like ESPN very much. And never will again, apparently.

ESPN issued a statement addressing the edit but did not explain why it chose to remove Game 6 specifically:

“When a live event runs long, it's standard procedure to shorten a taped program that follows," the network said. "In this case, we needed to edit out one of the film's four segments to account for the extra length of the softball game.”

Timothy Burke from Deadspin said there was no conspiracy.

Something tells us Schilling won't buy that explanation.
