The Chicago Cubs had no use for closer Hector Rondon in Game 1 of the NL Division Series on Friday, and it’s a good thing considering the situation Rondon found himself in at Busch Stadium.

Rondon was reportedly trapped inside a bullpen bathroom for several minutes late in the game, Joe Walsh, St. Louis' director of stadium operations, told The Associated Press. Walsh said the latch on the bathroom door froze. Cardinals’ personnel eventually freed Rondon from his temporary confines.

The faulty latch was replaced before Saturday’s Game 2.
