Like the NFL, MLB will begin making trips overseas regularly.
The Cubs and Cardinals are slated to play in London next season, The Associated Press reported , citing a draft of the 2020 preliminary schedule.
According to the report, a two-game series will take place at West Ham’s Olympic Stadium on June 13 and 14.
The news comes ahead of MLB's first games in Europe, which will feature the Yankees and Red Sox at London’s Olympic Stadium on June 29 and 30.

"I’ve had experience traveling over there and the time difference is pretty dramatic, especially when you go that way," Cubs manager Joe Maddon said Wednesday.
"When you come back, you’re always able to catch up, when you’re going back in time as opposed to forward in time. I don’t even know what to expect in something like that. You know your head’s going to be swimming a little bit, you’ve got that brain fog, you just do."
Maddon will use his experience to try to help his players, like Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward, who has never crossed the Atlantic before and could be in for an adjustment.
"It’s going to be like nothing we’ve ever experienced, so I won’t know until we get to it," Heyward said.
MLB's decision to play more games in London seems like a no-brainer considering the immense interest in the Yankees/Red Sox series.
Tickets for the rivalry matchup overseas sold out in December, but due to such high demand, the MLB announced in March that 5,000 more tickets will be released across the two games. There has been an increase in capacity at the London Stadium, which was built for the 2012 Olympic Games, allowing the seating to go from 55,000 to around 57,500.
