He started with, "Hello, Cubs fans! Today, C is for Cubbies!" — a twist on his Sesame Street signature "C is for cookies!" — before leading the Wrigley Field faithful in singing the song.
To close things, he paid tribute to Cubs broadcasting icon Harry Caray's "Let's get some runs!" song-ending plea.

The Cubs didn't need any more cookies (or runs) as they maintained their 9-7 lead to defeat the Braves.
