Never forget where you came from.

Rays rookie infielder Taylor Motter took himself back to Conway, S.C., on Thursday as he watched Coastal Carolina win the College World Series on the Tropicana Field Jumbotron.

It looks like Motter — who had a lot less hair while playing at Coastal  from 2009-11 — was waiting for a dogpile of his own after the Chanticleers beat Arizona in Game 3 of the finals. Nope. Here's a ball, rook; get back to work.

Motter later took time to salute the Chants for securing the first NCAA championship in school history.
