Madison Bumgarner owns Clayton Kershaw in head-to-head matchups — oh, and Bumgarner is pretty good at pitching, too.
Bumgarner blasted a home run off Kershaw in the second inning of Saturday's NL West battle between the Dodgers and Giants. Bumgarner homered off Kershaw last year, which means he's the only player with multiple home runs against Kershaw since the start of last season, per ESPN Stats and Info. You read that correctly. It's just Bumgarner.

So Clayton, what are your thoughts on the matter?

Uh, maybe we can talk later.
Bumgarner now has 12 career home runs, tied for the most among active pitchers with Orioles starter Yovani Gallardo. Bumgarner hit .252 with 9 home runs and 24 RBIs over the course of his 2014 and 2015 All-Star seasons, so his power at the plate should come as no surprise.
