Clayton Kershaw's back injury will sideline him at least through the All-Star break.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Thursday that Kershaw will be placed on the 15-day disabled list after receiving an epidural in his lower back Wednesday.

The left-hander experienced discomfort during Sunday's 4-3 loss against the Pirates, and it showed. He allowed four earned runs, nine hits and two walks in six innings.Kershaw, who was supposed to start Friday, leads the league with a 1.79 ERA and has an 11-2 record.
