For the second consecutive year, the international final of the Little League World Series comes down to Chinese Taipei and Curacao.
The global portion of the LLWS bracket concludes on Saturday as the two international teams left standing in Williamsport are the Asia-Pacific team from Chinese Taipei and the Caribbean club from Curacao.
Chinese Taipei have run through the competition with relative ease. The club is a perfect 3-0 at the tournament, outscoring its opponents 25-1 in those contests, and is led by two-way sensation Fan Chen-Jun. A decisive win on Wednesday over Curacao advanced the Kuei-Shan Little League group to the international final.
After losing to Chinese Taipei, Curacao bounced back with a 4-2 victory over Mexico in an elimination game on Thursday, punching its ticket to the international final. The Pabao Little League team is aiming to repeat the same result from 2022, when Curacao defeated Chinese Taipei in the international final to advance to the championship game.
The winner advances to the LLWS championship and faces the victor of the California (West) vs. Texas (Southwest) final on the U.S. side.
