Chase Utley is doing everything he can to prove he didn't intentionally injure Ruben Tejada.

The Dodgers second baseman is denying that he tried to hurt the Mets shortstop when he slid in Saturday’s NLDS game. He reportedly sent a message to Tejada through Mets third baseman David Wright,  according to Fox Sports.

Tejada suffered a broken leg on the play during the seventh inning of the Dodgers' 5-2 win.

MLB chief baseball officer Joe Torre has said the slide will be reviewed.
