Utley returned to Citizens Bank Park as a member of the Dodgers almost one full year after being traded to LA, and just for old times' sake he homered to deep right field. The drive off Phils starter Vincent Velasquez gave LA a 3-1 lead in the fifth inning.

Utley received a standing ovation from fans and players alike before his first at-bat in the first inning. Utley was drafted by the Phillies in 2000 and had played his entire major league career for them before being traded to the Dodgers last Aug. 19.
