The states of Ohio and Michigan will have one additional matchup added to their calendars this year.

The Hamilton (Ohio) West Side Little League team will face off against the Taylor (Mich.) North Little League team Sunday to decide the 2021 Little League World Series champion.

These two teams have faced off once before on their way to this matchup in Williamsport, Pa. They squared off in the final of the Great Lakes Regional, with Taylor North getting the better of Hamilton West Side to win the title.

Michigan has won only one Little League World Series title: in 1959, when Hamtramck National defeated West Auburn (Calif.) 12-0 in the final. Ohio has not won the Little League World Series.
