The Nationals outfielder just became the sixth player in MLB history to hit 40 home runs in a season at age 22 or younger. An impressive milestone in an already impressive career. But Harper is so much more than a slugger. He's a man of the people.

In a new Gatorade spot, a youth baseball team was invited to test out a new Bryce Harper virtual reality experience, when none other than Harper himself popped up to surprise the kids. It was a special moment as the team celebrated its season.

This? This is what baseball is all about, folks.
