This wasn't close to the longest ball Bryce Harper has hit in Tropicana Field, but it was still impressive:

Harper became a sensation in part because of the 500-plus foot bomb he hit at the Trop (with a metal bat) in a high school home run derby six years ago.

But back to Tuesday: His almost-indoor splash hit against the Rays was estimated at 445 feet, and it was his 22nd homer of the season, tying his career high set in 2012, his rookie season. He's two behind Giancarlo Stanton for the major league lead.
