For several years only three players could stake a claim to the 99 Overall Rating in the MLB The Show video game series. Mike Trout, Clayton Kershaw, and Miguel Cabrera have been considered the most elite players in baseball and no one else else had approached that territory. Now there's a new name claiming that distinction.

In a roster update Monday in MLB The Show 16, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper moved up to 99 Overall. He joins Trout and Kershaw there, with Cabrera having fallen out of the group going into this season.

Harper hit .286 with nine home runs and 24 RBIs in April. He ranked out second in RBIs and third in homers and slugging for the month.

Other players to move up in ratings after strong starts to the season include Noah Syndergaard, Stephen Strasburg, and Kenta Maeda while Zack Greinke, Max Scherzer, and Adam Wainwright all took significant hits to their stats following early struggles.
