Mike Soroka's outing against the Nationals Sunday didn't go exactly as planned.
The Braves right-hander was hit by a pitch in the top of the third inning off a fastball from Washington's Austin Voth, forcing him to exit early after just 21 pitches. He was visibly frustrated before taking first base as he immediately slammed his bat.
Josh Tomlin took the mound in relief in the bottom of the third.
