The Braves aren't expected to do much in 2015, but maybe speedster Mallex Smith can bring the club reason for optimism.
The 22-year-old outfielder legged out two triples against the Orioles on Wednesday as part of seven-run first inning for Atlanta.

For reference, in 2015 the Braves had just five triples from leadoff hitters the entire season.
Smith came to the Braves' organization in December 2014 in the trade that sent Justin Upton to the Padres. Between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett last season, Smith batted .306/.373/.386 with eight triples and 57 stolen bases en route to being named the Braves Organizational Player of the Year.
For the Braves and their fans alike, hopefully Smith's Wednesday display isn't the highlight of their season.
