On "Star Wars" night at Nationals Park, it was the Braves who showed an apparent mastery of the Force.

During a second-inning at-bat Saturday, Nationals hitter Pedro Severino hit a dribbler off the end of the bat down the foul side of the first base line. But thanks to some intense spin, or perhaps Jedi-like powers on the Braves, the ball inexplicably took a left turn and into fair territory. Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman scooped up the ball and tagged Severino out.

Despite this display, the Force was stronger with the Nats on the scoreboard, as they won 7-6.
