Tigers manager Brad Ausmus has received a one-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for excessive arguing and inappropriate actions following his ejection Monday, Major League Baseball announced.
After Tigers third baseman Nick Castellanos struck out on a questionable call against the Twins to end the fourth inning, Ausmus rushed to confront home plate umpire Doug Eddings and dropped multiple expletives that were picked up by broadcast field microphones.

Ausmus was quickly ejected, but before leaving the field he kicked dirt on home plate, took off his sweatshirt and left it on top of home plate.
