It's the turning point of the week. You just got over the weekend and now all eyes are on the upcoming holiday break — at least in the United States. Since we're around 50-percent through the work week now, it only makes sense that our work has also seen similar results.
Through Monday and Tuesday, we've given out eight props on SuperDraft, posting a record of 3-4 with one void thanks to Julio Rodriguez sitting out last night. While you wouldn't want your favorite sports team to hover around .500, that is something to be happy about in the world of sports betting. With four more props from Wednesday night's action, can we get over the hump and be in a position for a winning week?
Sign up for SuperDraft to pick your favorite over/unders via SuperDraft's Fantasy Props feature, bringing you closer to the action while having a chance to win cash prizes. Win 3X the amount wagered if your two-legged player prop parlay hits, and watch your potential payout rise with each additional leg you pile onto your parlay.
Below, we'll break down four of our favorite player props on SuperDraft for Wednesday night's MLB slate. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate two-legged parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all four picks come through.

Gerrit Cole, SP, Yankees @ Tigers - OVER 7 strikeouts
Cole has been one of the only Yankees to show up and play well this season. After all, there's a reason he's the AL Cy Young favorite. Regardless, the Yankees ace hasn't been lighting it up recently. But then again, neither has his team. As it turns out, a trip to Detroit has been exactly what the baseball doctor ordered for the pinstripes. After winning the first two games of a four-game set, New York has a chance to clinch its first series victory since July 21-23 against the Royals.
They send Cole to the hill tonight and the ace gets a Tigers lineup that makes a living striking out. Detroit has the fourth-most strikeouts in the league over the last 15 days, with 132 punch outs in 427 at-bats. That's good for a nearly 31-percent rate. If we shrink that sample size to just the last seven days, it jumps to 35-percent. Cole's strikeout rate has dropped in 2023 to 27-percent, the first time it's fallen below 30 since 2017. Despite beating this number just four times in the last 10 starts, Cole should be in line for a big time performance tonight — especially coming off 11 Ks in his last outing.
MORE SUPERDRAFT DFS & FANTASY PROPS: How to play SuperDraft
Marcus Semien, 2B, Rangers @ Mets - OVER 0.5 bases
Is this a misprint? In other words, head over to SuperDraft, take it and run. Semien has at least one hit in seven of the last 10 games and also gets a matchup against Denyi Reyes of the Mets. Reyes was called up from Triple-A after the team waived Carlos Carrasco on Tuesday. The 32-year-old Semien's numbers are up mostly across the board during his second season in Texas and that should help up cash this bet tonight.
Reyes got off to a good start in April, before allowing five runs in one inning against the Braves on May 1, thus ending his time with the big league club. Upon his return on Aug. 12, Reyes struggled against the Braves again, giving up another five runs in 4.2 innings. As the Rangers eye a sweep in Queens tonight, don't overthink this wager with too many fancy stats. It's a gift and should be treated as such. Take the OVER.
Dane Dunning, SP, Rangers @ Mets - OVER 4 strikeouts
Sticking around at Citi Field, we take a look at another Texas Ranger for tonight's action. For the same reasons we like Cole, we like Dunning too. It's all about the matchups. The Mets are striking out at nearly the same rate as the Tigers over the last week and have played six straight games in which they've been punched out at least 10 times.
Jon Gray posted nine strikeouts in the series opener and then Andrew Heaney got them seven times last night. Despite not being known as a strikeout pitcher, Dunning has totaled at least four Ks in nine of the last 10. With a free-swinging Mets team of late, we like him to get over the total tonight.
Freddie Freeman, 1B, Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks - OVER 1.5 bases
Freeman has been a thorn in opposing pitchers' side this season, seemingly always finding a way on base. With hits in eight of the last 10 and a matchup against the Diamondbacks' Brandon Pfaadt, Freeman has the chance to cash in again. In a limited sample size, the Dodgers first baseman has gone 2-for-3 with a double.
Couple that with Pfaadt's ERA of 5.91 and a hard hit percentage just north of 45, and you have recipe for disaster if you're the Diamondbacks. Freeman is among the league's best at the plate this season. His .337/.412/.579 slash line is evidence of that and should be more than enough to get two bases tonight, if not launch a ball into orbit. Regardless, we'll play it a little safer and just ask for two bases.
