The White House — home to a Chicago baseball mixed marriage — offered up two forms of congratulations after the Cubs' 8–7 Game 7 win over the Indians.

President Barack Obama, a noted White Sox fan, offered his from a hopey, changey perspective via Twitter:

Michelle Obama, on the other hand, is a Cubs fan and came at it from a different angle: as a lifelong Cubs fan.
