Angels rookie Jo Adell knocks a ball over the fence — with his glove for a four-base error image

Welcome to the outtakes reel, Jo Adell.

The Angels rookie outfielder pulled off some unintentional comedy Sunday when he tried to track a line drive by the Rangers' Nick Solak. He circled to just in front of the warning track and then failed to hold onto the ball after getting a glove on it. Worse, the ball squirted out of the glove and over the right field wall.

On top of that, the official scorer changed him with a four-base error after initially calling the play a home run for Solak.

The error increased the Angels' deficit to four runs.

Adell said he briefly lost the ball in the lights and roof of the Rangers' new domed stadium, Globe Life Field.

Adell, 21, was playing in his fourth career game after being recalled from the Angels' alternate site last week. Now he has a rookie mistake that'll replayed whenever someone wants to get a laugh.
