Andrew McCutchen apologizes for saying official scorer should be fired image

Andrew McCutchen has apologized to official scorer Tony Krizmanich after saying he "should be fired" for giving him an error, MLB.com reported Thursday.

The Pirates star center fielder and former MVP was adamant that he shouldn't have been charged with an error after fumbling a line drive off Anthony Rizzo's bat in the third inning of Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Cubs.
