With the Yankees in full overhaul mode, Alex Rodriguez's days in pinstripes are numbered. We already knew that, but the number could be shrinking rapidly.
According to the New York Daily News , A-Rod could get released before the season is over.

The report, citing unnamed sources, noted the more likely scenario is Rodriguez's departure will come this winter even though he's guaranteed $21 million for 2017.
“I hope not,” Rodriguez told the Daily News, referring to a possible early departure. “I want to play and think I can make a difference on the field and in the clubhouse.”
A-Rod is muddling through a difficult season with a .253 on-base percentage and just 29 RBIs.
