Wednesday night, Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks made history out of a routine play.
The left fielder recorded the fastest outfield throw in the history of the Statcast era when he was clocked at 105.5 mph as he nailed the Athletics' Danny Valencia at home plate.

The throw traveled nearly 250 feet.
The Yankees lost the game 5-2, dropping their record to 5-8, but that'll probably be the last time someone tests Hicks' arm.
